Introducinggggg: The Ominous!
A new species made by myself and ~Tikiface

These little horrific buggers are capable of shifting into a human as a disguise, but in doing so they are blinded. It's either human form and safety, or Ominous form and risk getting killed! ;V
This is an Ominous form to my character, who has yet to be named. Every and all Ominous are different though, in ways such as body build, colors, accessories, abilities, and of course their actual appearance (such as mine has spikes on his spine.)
Lani and I plan to make them a very awesome story, and we've already started to plan out both of our characters. <3
Mine is a lighter-than-average Ominous with a goo-like smoke/fire tail and prefers his Ominous form.

Their lore, so far, is that they are rumored as children bedtime stories so that they are naturally feared and thought of as "unreal" when in reality, they're just very good at deceiving and hiding.
Some humans have "tamed", captured (or even bred naturally) some Ominous for their needs. Ominous that are "For Humans" normally have the job to go in the night and gaze upon sleeping victims. If they awaken and react, they are considered human and are left alone.
BUT.
If someone does not react or notice them, they are thought to be blind and are taken by these Ominous.
Other Ominous are just naturally in hiding and sometimes are worse than others. They will prey on people, but some are more considerate and don't go as far as to hurt a human. Some others prefer to stay in human as much as possible.
Either way.
